An outdoor living contractor that pours its own concrete
The flatwork is the part that fails, so it is the part we refuse to hand to anybody else.
Most outdoor living companies in this valley subcontract the flatwork, which is exactly the part that fails. We do it the other way around. The Salas family has been pouring valley concrete since April 1980, so the slab under your cover, the deck around your pool and the pad under your kitchen island are poured by the same people who designed the yard.
That is what changed with the name. Salas Concrete is still the concrete arm and still the name on 29 five star Google reviews going back to 2019. Salas Outdoor is the whole yard: shade, fire, kitchens, walls, turf, planting, pavers and the pool deck, on one contract and one schedule instead of you chasing five trades.

We come out, walk the yard with you, talk through layout and finishes, and plan around how you actually use the space. We aim to make that visit the same day you call, or within 24 hours on weekdays. Before anything is built, we put together a 3D rendering of the design so you can see the finished yard and ask for changes while it is still just a drawing.

Concrete is what the family has done since 1980, so we pour our own instead of subcontracting the part that matters most.
Do you offer free estimates?
Yes, always. We come out, walk the yard with you, talk through layout and finishes, and give you a clear written price. We strive to make that visit the same day you call, or within 24 hours if it is not a weekend.
What areas do you serve?

Can I see what my yard will look like before you build it?
Yes. As part of the design, we put together a 3D rendering of your yard so you can see the finished layout, the patio, the cover, the kitchen, whatever you are building, before any concrete is poured. If something is not right, we change it on the rendering instead of on your driveway.
Will my concrete crack?
Concrete moves, so the job is to control where. We compact the base properly, set reinforcement, cut control joints in the right places and slope for drainage, so any movement happens along a line we chose rather than at random.
How do you make sure water drains off a new patio or pool deck?
Slope, joints and drains are planned before anything is poured, not fixed afterwards. We set the fall away from the house and the pool, place deck drains where the grade needs them, and run a hose over the finished surface before signing off. Anywhere it puddles, we come back and correct it.
How long does a project take?
A straightforward patio, driveway or deck pour is often a single day. One 380 sq ft job was finished in under 9 hours. A full backyard remodel with walls, turf, shade and a kitchen runs longer, and we give you the schedule with the estimate.
Can you work around an existing pool?
Yes, and it is most of what we do. Pool deck remodels, resurfacing, coping, drainage and repairs around fixed equipment such as skimmers are our most reviewed service.
Do you clean up afterwards?
