The reviews below are for Salas Concrete, which is the name the family has traded under since 1980 and the name all of this goodwill sits on. Salas Outdoor is the same people, the same crews and the same phone number, doing the whole backyard rather than only the flatwork.
Read them for the specifics rather than the stars. Four themes come up again and again: the site is left clean, the crew arrives when they said, the price is honest enough that money comes back when a job uses less footage than quoted, and the concrete does not crack. One customer waited three years on purpose before writing, just to find out.

Salas Concrete did the pool and a driveway for our house 3 years ago. Why am i reviewing them just now? Because concrete takes a while to crack. I am happy to say that with approximately 3,000 square feet poured, there is not a single crack in my concrete and i am very satisfied with the job performed by Salas Concrete.

Salas concrete is great. They did my pool deck and then a long driveway and pad. They were always on time, honest and professional. Their concrete finishers are some of the best in the Central Valley. Aaron is great to work with.

I recently had my 47 year old exposed aggregate pool deck redone by Salas Concrete. From my initial consultation with Ruben, to the finished project of the deck remodel, the attention to detail by Ruben, Aaron and the entire crew was outstanding. I was impressed with their professionalism and work ethic. The deck looks awesome and I'm very happy with my new look!

Aaron and Salas concrete are fantastic! We had a section of 20-year old concrete pool decking that had cracked around the skimmer. The Salas crew skillfully removed the damaged concrete without impacting the skimmer itself, then poured a beautiful new section of concrete with a similar finish. They arrived as promised and quickly completed the job. I had gotten quotes from multiple contractors and selected Salas due to their good price and expertise with pool decks. I highly recommend.

Salas Concrete did an amazing job on our new patio. The guys showed up right on time, got the whole thing done in one day, and cleaned up everything before they left. The patio looks perfect, and the owner even credited us some money back since we didn't end up using all the footage allowance. Super honest business and easy to deal with from start to finish. My wife and I were very pleased we chose Salas Concrete to help with our backyard project. Aaron Salas was a pleasure to work with. He was professional, accountable and great at communicating. The crew on site was also great- respectful and they busted their butts. As homeowners designing the backyard projects ourselves, Aaron and his crew worked with us to make sure it all got done correctly. Even when some things needed to be changed on the fly, the crew problem solved to get it done properly.

I had a great experience with Salas Concrete. They got back to me quickly and the same day Aaron came out to talk about the project and give an estimate. Not for nothing he's great with kids and even answered all my toddler's questions. I did the due diligence and from shopping around knew his price was good for the square footage. They came out the next day bc rain was forecast pretty much all next week, and for my project (about 380 sq ft) they finished in under 9 hrs. Would highly recommend.

I initially met with Ruben, who helped formulate a plan to replace the deck of my pool. The crews demoed my old deck, dug out many evasive roots, put in a root barrier and pour a new deck. The results are simply amazing. I highly recommend this company!

Aaron and his crew did an amazing job on my back yard pool decking remodel. Aaron helped with his design ideas and his crew worked very hard to make sure my job came out the way I envisioned it. We had an entire deck surrounding our pool and in the ground spa demolished as part of a complete pool redo. Working with the separate pool company, the old deck was removed and the spa filled in. Salas Concrete gave us a great service and we were very satisfied with the speed, quality of work and finished product. We are in Kings County and are very happy with the cost as well. There were no unexpected costs, delays and any questions were quickly and thoroughly answered. This was a serious family budget project for us and Salas Concrete took away a lot of anxiety from the process.
